The Cuyler Firm, LLC was formed in 2018 by its owner and managing attorney, Corderell D. Cuyler. Corderell is a Georgia native, born and raised in Sandersville, GA. Driven by a desire to effectuate change within the Criminal Justice System, Corderell graduated from Washington County High School with honors and studied Criminal Justice at Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA.

While at GSU, Corderell concentrated on gaining an understanding of why crime occurred and the factors that contributed to its occurrence. He was recognized for his senior thesis in Criminology, which formulated high crime rates in inner cities to be the systematic result of inadequate public education and insufficient employment, multiplied by the negative realities of life in poverty stricken neighborhoods.

Corderell received his Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from GSU in 2011 and was accepted into The Paul M. Hebert School of Law at Louisiana State University in 2012. He received his Juris Doctor Degree from LSU in 2015. While in law school, Corderell studied abroad in Lyon, France at the University of Jean Moulin Lyon 3 and finished his last year of law school in Athens, GA at the University of Georgia School of Law.

Since becoming an attorney, Corderell has focused on using his platform to motivate the next generation of kids. He has participated in several speaking events motivating kids to dream big while promoting his philanthropic slogan: It’s Cool to be Smart!

Before starting The Cuyler Firm, LLC, Corderell served as a prosecutor in the State Court of Richmond County.
